Weekly Bite of Yiddishkayt: “Refusing a Painting From Chagall?!”

Leon Feinberg, Yiddish journalist and Norman’s father, was close friends with Chagall, who at one point offered one of his paintings as a gift. Norman, professor of music history, explains that Leon came from the same town in Eastern Europe as Paul Muni and Marc Chagall.
